I'm a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I was a Staff Scientist (career-indefinite) in the Atmospheric, Earth, & Energy Division at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. I was an Ernest O. Lawrence Fellow at Livermore before converting to the permanent position. Prior to Livermore, I was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I earned my M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. I received my B.E. in Civil Engineering from the Beijing University of Technology.
